Because you can finally feel yourself:
They walked together through the forest as the light thinned into evening.
The Body moved slowly, feeling the cool air settle across its skin.
The Nervous System shimmered beside it, alert but not tense.
The Inner God glowed quietly behind them, steady as a pulse of warm light.
And the Higher Self walked just ahead, as if guiding them toward a place it already understood.
The Body finally spoke, its voice low and honest.
“Why now?” it asked. “Why is everything changing now and not years ago? Why am I feeling all of this so intensely?”
The Higher Self stopped and turned, its presence clear and calm, like a breath that lands exactly where it needs to.
“Because you can finally feel yourself,” it said.
The Body frowned slightly.
“I’ve always felt myself.”
“No,” the Higher Self replied gently. “You felt survival. You felt obligation. You felt pressure. You felt what the world demanded. But you didn’t feel you.”
The Nervous System hummed softly, a subtle vibration through the air.
“She’s right,” it said. “You were bracing for so long that you mistook the bracing for your identity.”
The Body looked down at its hands, flexing its fingers slowly.
“So why now?” it asked again, quieter this time.
The Higher Self stepped closer.
“Because the old way finally became too heavy to carry,” it said. “Your system reached its limit. Your body couldn’t perform anymore. Your nervous system couldn’t brace anymore. Your truth couldn’t stay quiet anymore.”
The Inner God glowed a little brighter, the light warming the space around them.
“The cost of misalignment became louder than the fear of change,” it said. “That is why now.”
They continued walking, the forest growing darker but somehow softer.
The Higher Self spoke again, its voice like a warm current in the cool air.
“Years ago, you didn’t have the awareness you have now. You didn’t have the language. You didn’t have the clarity. You didn’t have the strength to hear yourself.”
The Nervous System added, “And I was still in survival mode. I couldn’t translate truth. I was too busy protecting you.”
The Body felt a small ache rise in its chest — not pain, just recognition.
“So I wasn’t ready,” it whispered.
“You weren’t supposed to be,” the Higher Self said. “Everything you lived through brought you here. Every moment of bracing. Every moment of exhaustion. Every moment of ‘I can’t do this anymore.’ Those were not failures. They were thresholds.”
The Inner God stepped forward, its presence warm and steady.
“And now,” it said, “you are crossing the threshold. Not because the world changed. Because you did.”
The Body breathed in, slow and deep, feeling the truth land in its ribs.
“So the shift is happening now because I can finally feel myself.”
“Yes,” the Higher Self said. “You can finally hear me. You can finally sense the Inner God. You can finally trust the Nervous System. You can finally live in your own rhythm.”
They reached a small clearing where the last light of dusk lingered like a soft veil.
The Body stepped into it, feeling the warmth settle across its skin.
The Nervous System softened into a gentle hum.
The Higher Self brightened with quiet certainty.
The Inner God glowed with a steady, unwavering light.
And the Body whispered, almost to itself:
“I’m ready now.”
The Higher Self smiled.
“You always were. You just had to feel it.”
