Lost Love – Love Lost
“I don’t know how to feel love…I don’t know how to give love.” The client shared. Despite years of psychotherapy, she felt like she could not determine the reason for her inability to give and receive love.
Her past life regression took her to what seemed to be the late 1800’s. Her first impression was that she was very poor because her feet were bare as she approached town on a market day to buy food. Despite her poverty, she felt happy inside and sensed it was because of a boy she would see in town.
Moving ahead on the timeline of that life, her next “memory” was of she and a young man (both in the late teens), sitting together closely beside a lake. They kissed passionately. She described his skin, his scent, his face, every detail of him. The two grew up together and had always loved each other.
Progressing forward, the couple was once again beside the lake together. This time they had young children – a daughter and a son. Their connection remained intense – laughing and kissing as they enjoyed the day.
“There was an accident on the road” a neighbor called to her one day. Her husband had been killed. She was devastated and in her mourning vowed never to love again. She never spoke again either and was known as a “mad woman” in her town. The children grew up afraid of her. When she finally passed, her grown children were relieved.
Following her death – through the regression, she as guided through hypnotherapy to let go of her promise to never to love again. The client and her past self connected and the promise was released.
The client was free to love once more.
